Dr. Azul Estefanía Torres Rivera graduated as Medical Surgeon in the Anahuac University in Mexico City, where she was invited to study with full scholarship for obtaining first place in the contest of Mathematics “Andrei Nikolaevich Kolmogorov “.

Member of Excellence Group “Vértice” Anahuac. She completed her internship at the Instituto Nacional de Perinatología (INPer) and the Instituto Nacional de Pediatría (INP) in Mexico City and the Hospital Virgen de la Macarena in the city of Seville in Andalusia, Spain.

In Mexico City she studied the courses “Mother Cells and Cell Therapy” and “Hyperbaric Medicine”, both endorsed by the Asociación Americana de Avances en Medicina Hiperbárica (ALAM) and the Asociación Americana de Medicina Hiperbárica (ALMH); meanwhile she acquired experience in occupational medicine, as she was responsible for the nationwide coordination of the Wellness program at Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA).

Later she made her certification as Diving Medical Physician (DMP) in a course endorsed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in the City of Seattle WA, USA. Simultaneously she became involved in medical tourism, focusing on Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine as she developed as DMP in SSS International Clinic, on the island of Cozumel in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

In 2014 she becomes member of the team of Dr. Gaytán as Cycle Coordinator.
