Let’s have a talk with the “Father of vitrification”! In today’s episode, Dr. Azul Torres 👩‍⚕️, medical director in #AdvancedFertilityCenterCancun, will have a chat with Dr. Masashige Kuwayama 👨‍⚕️, also known as the father of vitrification. He will answer some interesting questions for us.

The vitrification process, also known as “Cryopreservation” , is used to preserve a person’s fertility.

How is this done?

Using freezing systems that are faster than conventional ones, eggs, embryos or sperm can reach temperatures below -195 °C. When they are in a frozen state, their quality remains the same for years, allowing men and women to preserve their fertility for an indefinite amount of time.
