How long does it take to do IVF?

E21 – How long does it take to do IVF?

Have you wondered how long it takes to do an IVF treatment? In today’s episode, Dr. Alfonso Suástegui 👨‍⚕️, reproductive biologist at #AdvancedFertilityCenterCancun, talks to about how long in vitro fertilization treatment lasts.

In Vitro Fertilization is an advanced fertility treatment that involves combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory to create an embryo. Once the embryo develops, it is transferred to the woman’s uterus with the goal of achieving a successful pregnancy.

The IVF process includes several steps: ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, fertilization, embryo development, and embryo transfer. A full IVF cycle can take about 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the individual case and response to treatment.

IVF offers hope to individuals and couples facing fertility challenges and has helped millions around the world start or grow their families.
